Synthesizing 80’s skate / surf graphic design, street art, and 3D renders the iconographic series of artworks takes iconic images and figures and challenges their physical boundaries in a way that foreshadows the emergence of digital design tools. These artworks manipulate and transform familiar icons in unexpected ways, pushing the boundaries of what is physically possible. The use of digital design tools allows for new visualizations of these icons, as they enable the artist to stretch, bend, and manipulate the forms in ways that would be impossible to achieve through traditional techniques. The result is a series of artworks that are both recognizable and unfamiliar, challenging the viewer's preconceived notions of these iconic images and figures. The artworks in this series also serve as a glimpse into the future, where digital design tools will continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in art and design, opening up new possibilities for visual expression.
