Showing the process is crucial for both artists and designers as it provides invaluable insight into the creation of their work. It demystifies the final product, allowing viewers to appreciate the thought, effort, and skill that went into each piece. Additionally, sharing the process fosters transparency and authenticity, helping to build a stronger connection between the creator and their audience. It also serves as a valuable educational tool, inspiring and guiding aspiring artists and designers by offering a glimpse into the creative journey, problem-solving, and decision-making that occur during the artistic or design process. Ultimately, showcasing the process enriches the appreciation of art and design, enhances the creative community, and encourages growth and innovation within these fields.
My work explores an ongoing struggle to find equanimity between binary oppositions: analog & digital | human & computer | rough & smooth | monochrome & color. In short, my art is an extension of my mental practice to find balance not only in my mind but in the surrounding world.
